Van Aubel believes interdisciplinary practice is the way forward for design.

Van Aubel has collaborated with scientists, designers and manufacturers including EPFL-ECALLab and The American Hardwood Export Council and she has exhibited at Boijmans van Beuningen Museum and the Design Museum in London. Her work is part of the permanent collection of MoMA New York. Marjan also won the first New Material Award.

Our favourite masterpiece? The Energy Collection. This solar glassware gathers energy from the light around it. Let's raise our glasses for Marjan van Aubel's fellowship at the Strawberry Earth Academy!
